Recovery: Brazilian Coffee Production Set to Soar by 5.5% in 2024

In Short: Turning the page of the climatic adversities of 2021 and 2022, coffee production in Brazil is projected to experience a notable 5.5% increase in 2024, marking it a consecutive year of recovery due to more favorable weather conditions in 2023.
According to a report released by Conab, the forecast for the 2024 harvest exceeds 58.1 million bags, representing a 5.5% increase compared to the previous year.
Of this harvested commodity, 70% will be of the arabica variety, totaling 40.7 million bags, while the remaining 30%, equivalent to 17.3 million bags, will be of conilon.
